Let's close the gap, together.

For countless Black men, seeking mental health support is met with waitlists, sigma, and systems that don’t see them. The exhausting search for a therapist who feels safe, the heaviness of staring at a list of services you can’t afford, and the isolation that makes speaking up feel impossible.

Far too many men of color end up carrying their struggles alone.

At Black Men’s Therapy Foundation, we’re rewriting that story.

We create pathways to culturally grounded support—spaces where Black men are seen, heard, and supported long before crisis hits. Through culturally grounded events, shared conversations, and accessible therapy programs, we’re breaking down the barriers that keep black men & boys from the care they deserve. No one should be denied support because of cost, isolation, or a system that wasn’t built with them in mind.

But this work isn’t possible without you.

Your donation helps open more doors and makes this work possible. Expanding programs and bolstering our therapeutic resources that offer rest, reflection, and connection. Together, we can build a future where mental health care is accessible—

because investing in Black men’s wellness uplifts everyone connected to them.

Donate now and be part of creating a more equitable mental health landscape.

Across the country, Black men face some of the greatest barriers to mental health care — not because of a lack of need, but because of a lack of access, representation, and culturally grounded support.

I really do believe that the space Black Men's Therapy Fund provided is crucially needed in Toronto, which is a sad reality but as someone that didn't spend more than a little over 5 years here, I'm not sure and noone I asked really seems to be able to identify, genuine Black spaces outside of a clinical/social services content - and even that's a challenge.

I had a great expereience with Black Men's Therapy Fund. I'm glad I made it a point to attend and I found that the struggles I have are also shared by other Black men and it was encouraging  to share in the healing process. It is never-ending but this expereience has placed me a step closer on my mental health journey.

Black Men's Therapy Fund gave me the opportunity to not only connect with other Black men/brothers, it gave me an opportunity to be vulnerable and share about my own struggles...I saw Black men, like me,  become emotional and teary...It reminded me that I don't have to hold it in all the time, it reminded me that there are others like, and it reminded me that I am no odd, but different and enough. Thank you Black Men's Therapy Fund for giving me this opportunity to find myself a bit more.
