Black Men Healing in Nature

Black Men's Therapy Fund hosted a transformative event designed specifically for Black men and masculine-identified individuals: Black Men Healing in Nature, funded by The Green Resilience Project and in partnerships with Nature Diverse Collective, Black Canadian Hikers, Black Environmental Initiative and Embodied Support Services. This immersive experience aimed to promote mental wellness and healing through the power of nature and the strength of community.

"I had a good experience. I was eager to be part of this interesting idea of healing with other black men in a natural environment and I wasn't disappointed. I learned new things about nature and about myself. The facilitators were very skilled and they provided many useful resources. The gift bags were a big deal and it felt good to be united as a community."
